George Bennett
George Bennett is a photographer that photographed mannequins. I chose him as my big project. My goal was probably higher than my reach because first off, I'm not a professional photographer, secondly I don't have blank canvases. His photo were amazing, just one mannequin with a white backdrop so your whole attention was on the subject. In my case I can't achieve that without spending money and I'm on a tight budget right now so what you see is what you get, with a little bit of photoshop. Each week we are suppose to upload three picture in the style of our photographer. Here is my attempt of the three:

Natural Light
So I guess each week we are suppose to put something on our blog. I thought that was over the first term. What ever, over it. So we are suppose to but pre and post post on our blog about he current assignments. The last assignment was Natural Light, we were suppose to photograph people in natural light with out loosing the detail on the other side of the face. Here are three of my pictures
Things I would change about the photos would have to be my models because the guys in the first two picture would not take direction for anything. Then my assistant was so bad, I fired her right away. In order to not loose the detail on the other side of the face you must hold something white near that side so the light would bounce back. I tried to explain that to her but it really didn't work. Because I didn't have the right tools to do this assignment to my full ability these are not the best pictures I have taken but will do for now, till I become professional.
Big Photo Assignment
This term we were required to choose one photographer for our big photo assignment. We were suppose to research this photographer and take pictures in his or hers style. I chose George Bennett, he photographed mannequins. In the heat of the moment I thought it would be very creative because it seemed so different. Turns outs its is actually very hard to find a place that allows you to take pictures of their mannequins because "you could use it for advertisement". Well clearly I'm not, its for a photo assignment. It's what ever. I like a challenge anyways.

I like this picture a lot because it's people having a fun time and that are in love.
Its a summer love romance that every girl dreams of.
This picture is interesting to me because everyone has something to say and or gossip about.
My favorite aspect of this photo is the fact that the women is having so much fun and doesn't care about anything.
